Playa de Las Vistas - golden yellow sand beach in the South of Tenerife

Playa de las Vistas, besides the Playa de los Cristianos, is the second beach of the town Los Cristianos. The beach is situated in the west of the port of Los Cristianos in the direction of Playa de las Americas.

The beach
The artificially created, golden yellow beach Playa de las Vistas in Los Cristianos at the South coast is approx. 850 meters long and has clear, turquoise water. The powerful waves of the ocean are reduced by a water break, which was built far away from the beach. Services and safety facilities are rendered at the beach (that is: rental of parasols and sunloungers, lifeguard). Along the promenade shady palm trees were planted. Playa de las Vistas is constantly frequented by both, locals and holiday-makers from all over the world.

Child-friendliness
The beach is child-friendly, the powerful waves of the ocean are reduced by a water break. The beach slopes gently down to the sea.

The town of Los Cristianos
Los Cristianos, besides the neighbouring town Playa de las Américas, is the tourism centre of Tenerife par excellence with its countless hotels and apartment complexes in the South of the island. Meanwhile, the two towns have grown together. However, Los Cristianos still has a distinguishable town centre (along the pedestrian area to the promenade). Here you will find small shops, which offer lovely things. At the promenade of Los Cristianos and along the alleys you will aslo find some restaurants, bars und cafés with their Canarian charme and ocean view, which will invite you to take a breather. Starting from the port, ferries go every day to the neighbouring islands La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro.
