The aiports of Tenerife
Tenerife has two airports, one of them, Tenerife North Airport "Aeropuerto Norte Los Rodeos", is situated on the north side of Tenerife, near La Laguna. Most of the foreign airlines don't approach the North Airport at all or only rarely. When you have chosen a holiday home, e. g. a private holiday house in the north of Tenerife, it may be really worth landing on the north side of Tenerife. Very often, airlines as for example Iberia offer flights at favourable prices.
Tenerife North Airport is mainly used for flights to the other Canary Islands and the Spanish mainland.
