At an altitude of 650m lies the nice town of Granadilla. From here, the airport, El Médano and the surrounding towns are administered. Under the high trees at the town hall, you'll find a cool spot after a shopping trip. The newly restored part of the town and some historic sights are worth a visit.

El Médano has a wonderful plaza by the sea and a very child- and family-friendly sandy beach that slopes down gently into to water. You can go for a long walk or sometimes watch the kite surfers on the beach of El Médano. Just behind the mountain Montaña Roja that fits perfectly into the water, there is the La Tejita beach. Among others, there is an isolated nudist bathing bay. From there, the beach extends to the next town - Los Abrigos. Los Abrigos offers many fishing restaurants by the sea. Here, fishermen still go fishing every day.
