You will find the beach Playa Bollullo in the Orotava Valley near Puerto de la Cruz, on the coast of the village El Rincon, in the middle of a rocky bay. This peaceful bay is an insider tip. Bollullo beach is considered as the most beautiful bay near to the capital. You can reach the beach be driving the narrow road through banana plantations. The last meters you have to walk downstairs to the bay.

The beach
A beautiful and almost virgin natural beach with smooth sand. The fact that one has to walk the last meters causes that the beach is unfrequented. However, thoose who take the trouble, will be rewarded with a large lovely bay surrounded by impressive cliffs. The landscape is fantastic and bizarre at the same time. The water is crystal-clear and clean.
Since the beach is not sheltered by reefs, sometimes strong waves and currents can arise.

The region of El Rincon is characterized by agriculture - everywhere you look, you will see banana plantations.
