Masca for hiking enthusiasts: original Canarian holiday home | Internet & Sat-TV

The holiday home is located directly on the hiking route of the well-known mountain village "Masca".

Masca is nestled between the impressive mountains of the Teno Mountains. Small restaurants invite you to linger and enjoy the impressive view of the mountains and natural landscape with homemade cakes and coffee on the terraces. Many holidaymakers visit the famous gorge of Masca, which you can hike through to the sea, and from there take boats along the impressive cliffs to Los Cristianos.

In the valley basin in which Masca is nestled with only a handful of houses, agaves, fig and almond trees, avocados and oranges grow alongside palm trees. Here you will encounter the real, original Tenerife.

The original Canarian country house is over 150 years old and has been restored in traditional Canarian style.
The house has one bedroom, bathroom with shower, cosy living room with access to the front terrace with garden furniture and a small, fully equipped kitchen.

The location is absolutely quiet and wonderfully close to nature. If you like, you can start hiking directly from the front door, for example along the Masca gorge down to the sea (one of the most beautiful hikes on the island). Of course, there are countless hiking routes in the Teno Mountains.

There are a few small restaurants in Masca and shopping facilities in the town of Santiago del Teide (about 20 min away).
