In just a few minutes you can reach El Médano beach and the beautiful plaza with cafés, shops, bars and local restaurants. The image of Médano is mainly characterised by the red mountain, the "Montana Roja" and the numerous water sports enthusiasts.

In El Médano, sun worshippers, families with children and surfers all get their money's worth. The village offers a long sandy beach that slopes gently into the water. There are also several bicycle rental companies, a diving school and some surf/kite schools. Several golf courses can be reached within 10 minutes. Please note that there may be audible air traffic in Médano due to its proximity to the airport, depending on the direction of take-off and landing.
