El Medano is not only recommended because of its short distance to Tenerife South Airport, but also because of its special character. Surfers, windsurfers, kiters, locals, but also hippies and Sun-and Sand tourists who don't want to spend their holidays in the mass tourism strongholds of Las Americas, Los Cristianos or Adeje, mix here great. El Medano offers not only a very beautiful wooden promenade but also a large number of bars and restaurants to enjoy. In addition to plenty of water sports, there are many activities for the youngest in the nearby town plaza.
