Property description

This finca is located close to the sea in Alcala at the popular southwest coast of Tenerife. It is in the middle of banana and fruit plantations and even has a private access to the sea. There are not many fincas like this one and even less for holiday rental.
The finca consists of 6 small houses / flats, an amazing green garden with chill-out pavilion, a BBQ area and terraces.
Here starts the path through the garden and the banana plants to the sea (appr. 20m). At the beach, you can swim in the sea water pools on the left, or walk ca. 80m to the new dream bay with bar and sun loungers. This beach was sponsored by the 5 star hotel which is located there.
The best: When you are at the finca, you won’t notice the noice and the people at the beach. Here you can relax on the terrace with sea view or in the garden and have a BBQ.

Equipment

The holiday accommodation has two storeys. It is decorated lovely with furnishing from different countries like India or Africa.
The bedroom has two single beds and the bathroom offers a shower. In the living room is a sofa bed which can accommodate two more people as well as TV and internet. Furthermore the dining table is in the living room. The kitchen is well equipped: you find there stove and oven, a fridge, microwave, a kettle, a coffee machine and much more.
On the outside you have 2 nice and furnished terraces and a great sea view. On good days you can also see the islands La Gomera, El Hierron and La Palma.

The highlight of this finca is the garden with the BBQ area the roofed and un-roofed eating areas and the chill-out places with sitting pads and pillows.

You will reach the centre of the town in around 7 min on foot. Here you find many good restaurants, e.g. El Tauce, an Italian restaurant close to the sea. Moreover there are cafes, small shoe stores, pharmacies and supermarkets.

The location of the apartment in the plantation is great, great peace and quiet, the sea only 300 metres away through the plantation. The owners are friendly and helpful. The equipment is completely ok, except for some kitchen utensils, which probably could have been asked for. We would like to come back.

We liked the house very much, everything you need is there and everything is in a very neat and clean condition. The grounds are also exactly as in the pictures and description, the location is wonderfully quiet and the grounds offer plenty of space and nice barbecue areas. The beaches (small bays with black sand) and the swimming areas are a 3 minute walk through the banana plantation. In the evening you can walk to Alcala for dinner or a drink (about 15 minutes walk). In the evening it is a bit scary back through the dark plantation, so don't forget a torch. The complex is wonderfully quiet, but a rental car is a must. The landlord lives partly on the premises, he is very nice and helpful and has good tips on where to eat.

Recommendations:
Definitely visit the Sauco restaurant by the sea for dinner - it is best to book in advance as it is always full, preferably around 19:30 at sunset (the landlord can give you a map of the restaurant). For hiking I can highly recommend the hiking / leisure app Komoot. You can download the maps of Tenerife free of charge and have countless beautiful hikes at your disposal which you can also save and use offline (works like a sat nav, only on foot).

An oasis of tranquillity, beach and town within easy walking distance. There is something to discover in every corner of the garden, the landlord is an artist and has made many things himself.

A hike on the Teide is simply a must.
