Property description
This Holiday flat with ocean view is situated on a hillside in Los Gigantes/ Puerto Santiago by the sea, which is located in the southwest of the island. It is centrally but still peaceful. Here in Puerto Santiago you will definitely enjoy your holidays.
This flat has a completely new interior and beautiful sea view from the living room and balcony.
The heated pool, the large beautiful communal area with sun loungers and various seating areas and the brick pavilion are on the upper level (outside stairs with 45 steps) are part of the property with a total of 5 flats.
The traditional fishing village Puerto Santiago has been growing over the last years and is connected to the neighbouring villages Los Gigantes ad Playa La Arena. It is only a few minutes on foot to the beach in Puerto Santiago. At the old port you can still watch the fishermen and enjoy the silence. But it does also offer you shopping possibilities, doctors, bars and a sandy beach.
In the neighbouring village Playa La Arena there is another well-kept beach with black sand. It takes you only 3 minutes by car to get there. Restaurants and shops are also reachable on foot.
Equipment
As I said before, this location has been newly refurbished this summer. The accommodation with ocean view and a living area of 80 m² offers enough space for 2 -3 people.
The open kitchen with living room cover 40 square metres, the balcony with fantastic ocean view, the bedroom and bathroom create a good atmosphere, where you will feel at home.
Next to the master bedroom with bath en suite and shower is a small guest room with a single bed and a guest toilet. Furthermore, there is a storeroom with household appliances.
The open kitchen is well equipped with oven, ceramic hob, fridge and freezer, coffee machine, microwave, toaster and all necessary utensils.
The adjacent living room has a dining area with a big table and chairs, besides there is a comfortable sofa which can be converted into a bed (with slatted frame). There is also a TV (satellite TV) and Wi-Fi.
The big window front with sliding glass doors bring an array of light to the interior spaces.
The balcony with sitting area and fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean is the perfect place for breakfast. If it gets too hot you can use the electric awning.
The accommodation is most suitable for short/ long-time as good as for traveler who stay over the winter.

- The pool is heated to about 25 degrees from November to April.
- In order to ensure optimal peace and quiet for our guests, the flat with use of the pool and pool terrace is offered for adults only.
- Exception for families with children up to 12 years: If you book the flat with children, please note that for safety reasons (the pool is not locked), the pool and the associated pool terrace cannot be used.
- Access to the flat via an outside staircase with 45 steps.
- Arrival or handover of keys is possible between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm.

Very nice holiday flat with valuable furnishings. From the balcony of the flat you have an unobstructed - and great - view of the Atlantic and usually also of the island of La Gomera. We were welcomed extremely friendly by the manager, the communication with the owner was very good. About the location of the Flat: If you have problems with climbing stairs, you should contact the owner before booking.
Two recommendations: If you love adventure, you should definitely set off by car over the mountains to Porto de la Cruz one day. The town and the landscape are worth it. Also worth seeing is the nature reserve around the foot of the 3715 m high Teide - an enormous lava landscape. We were - unfortunately only one week - in May 2022 in flat no. 5. It was a wonderful time. The flat is modern and bright, the view from the rooms and from the balcony is directly over the Atlantic to La Gomera. Although it is in the village, the alley below the flat is not frequented and therefore very quiet. The only thing missing was a dishwasher, but "who wants to cook on holiday?".
A few restaurants, a pasteleria and a small supermarket are within walking distance.
The Playa Arena is about 15 minutes away.
The terrace in Spanish style with a communal pool has the same view and is ideal for relaxing. We felt very well looked after by Bianca and Axel and we will definitely come back.

We felt very comfortable here. Everything you could wish for was there, at its best, and we didn't miss a thing.

The location is central as described and yet very quiet, you can hear the sound of the sea. The furnishings are of a high standard and the view of the Atlantic to Gomera is fantastic. The reception and especially the service is very lovely and competent.

Unfortunately we could only stay for one week. If we had known beforehand how beautiful the flat was... we would not have booked somewhere else for the first week.
The flat is very tastefully furnished... nothing was missing. Everything is very well maintained and clean. The view directly onto the sea and the peace and quiet, even though in the middle of the town, were what really got us. We have been around a lot, have booked many flats... this one belongs to the top offers for us and is actually too cheap for what we got.
Here a word to the landlord... rarely met such nice and helpful people.

We were here from 06.03 to 20.03. When we saw the flat and the property above, we immediately extended our holiday.
The flat is very tastefully furnished and lacks nothing. And then this peace and quiet. No noise, no sirens and no horns. As city dwellers from Düsseldorf, we didn't know that such a thing still existed.
The sea every day, you can't get more than that.
Unfortunately we had to return to wet Germany. But we will be back.

The flat is centrally located with good shopping facilities nearby. The highlight of the flat is certainly the large balcony with sea view and the view of La Gomera. The landlords are friendly and helpful. The flat is ideal for a couple or a couple with a child. There is a separate toilet in addition to the spacious bathroom.

The holiday home is extremely beautiful and contains all the amenities you could wish for on holiday. The furnishings are fantastic. We didn't want for anything. The beach, supermarkets and restaurants are within walking distance, both in the village and in the neighbouring villages. The service on site and also by the landlord was very good. I don't think that we have stayed in this flat for the last time. We can recommend this flat with a clear conscience.
