Alcalá - country hotel for single travellers, south-west of Tenerife

The small country hotel with 3 suites and 8 double bed rooms for single travellers as well as for couples is situated on the warmest side of the island, a bit outside the coastal town Alcalá.
Although the town Alcalá has grown in the meantime, it is one of the last few refuges on the west coast in which the old fishermen sit undisturbed on the wall by the fishermen’s port or the Plaza under shady trees. Here and there you can see some holiday makers, sitting by the sea, paddling at the water's edge, and enjoying the sweetness of doing nothing and the soutern flair.
Even if the upper part of the town is not that interesting, the lower old town centre with unspoiled, quaint corners, the still contemplative Plaza with park benches under big old trees is all the more exciting.
Captivating lava formations in the Atlantic, the small port, narrow alleys and walks, small shops of all kinds, bars and fishing restaurants with fresh fish show the true and original character of Tenerife.
The small country hotel lies in the middle of a banana plantation. You won’t find any mass tourism or hectic bustle here. It is an oasis of silence in green surroundings and a wonderful place to rest and relax.
Even the breakfast room, the terrace und the reception, which also is a comfortable lounge, have been created with much love. The pool area with a beautiful sun terrace, sun loungers and a dreamlike view of the sea is also a wonderful place.

The rooms are comfortably furnished and contain a big double bed (160/180 x 200 cm) with comfortabel mattresses, sat TV, safe, telephone and minibar.
The bathrooms have a bathtub or shower, waschbasin, bidet and wc.
Moreover, each double room has its own, big terrace with terrace furniture and 2 deck chairs on which you will enjoy privacy, the sun and the fantastic view of the sea.
You will remember your holidays in this country hotel for a long time because here you feel at ease right away and enjoy the silence, the sun, the wonderful breakfast and the dreamlike view of the sea and the opposite island “La Gomera” you have from the terrace. For hiking tours and island excursions the country hotel is also an ideal starting point. You can also go for a walk to the sea. To Alcalá, where you can find a quaint beach, restaurants and supermarkets, it is only 1 km.

You can find shops and restaurants of all stripes, also some very good fishing restaurants in Alcalá, ca. 1 km away.
