Property description
The residential complex with affordable holiday flats in Costa del Silencio near Las Galletas is located in the sunny south of Tenerife, only a few metres from the sea.
The holiday complex has a large pool with pool terrace and is ideal for both short and long-term holidays due to its proximity to shops, restaurants, bus stop etc.. The complex is self-contained so that children cannot easily leave the area. There are about 70 accommodation units available, about half of them with sea view. The complex is located on the outskirts of the village, so there is no traffic noise.
In the village of Costa del Silencio you will find everything you need: Restaurants and bars, supermarkets, a bank, a doctor and a small shopping street with shops. Also nearby you will find a golf course, a car rental and a bus station. You don't necessarily need a car here, as everything, restaurants, cafés, supermarket, can be easily reached on foot. You can also take the bus from Costa Silencio to the nearest beaches and sights. In the nearby villages you will find several golf courses (Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf). A path leads across natural terrain to a picturesque rocky promenade. If you follow this to the right in the direction of Las Galletas, you can walk to Westhaven Bay all the way to Las Galletas.
Equipment
The holiday homes (studios) have nice furnitures and are bright because of the big terrace doors.
The kitchen unit has fridge, small oven and two hot plates, coffee machine, toaster, cutlery, as well as pots and pans, etc. The combined living room and bedroom is furnished with a sliding-door cupboard, couch with table, cupboard, sat TV. The sleeping area has a double bed with two comfortable mattrasses. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin, WC and bidet.
The terraces / balconies are furnished with table and 2 chairs, sun loungers are available by the pool. The studios have either sea view, pool view or view towards the mountains. Some of the holiday flats are on the ground floor and these do not have a view to the outside, but instead have a small front garden with plants to the terrace, which also provide privacy.
Note:
You are welcome to tell us your wishes regarding the location and view of the terrace. If the occupancy rate permits, we will be happy to take your wishes into account on site. However, it may happen that all flats with a certain orientation are already occupied and therefore these wishes cannot be fulfilled.

The landlord was very nice to us on our arrival and helpful. We didn't need much help afterwards so there was no problem.
We liked our seaview, the apartment was good and had all we need and it was also easy to park our car anytime around which was more difficult in other places.Nice restaurant with reasonble prices (rather meat) very close to the apartment - El Cordero- about 5-10 min away. Nice local food mainly in the north of the island.
Best is to have one day drive around the island and see what you like best when it comes to attractions. From the popular ones we did Masca and El Teide. We didnt take a cable car so return way should take you around 9 h.The accommodation was beautiful and met my expectations

We were received in a very helpful and friendly manner.
Everything worked well in the apartment and we had no problems.We spent much of our time hiking in the hills and mountains, which we love. We were happy to discover El Cordero restaurant - stacks of food in the mixed grill and a unique atmosphere in this banana plantation. It's just up the road in Guargacho.

We have spent 3 months in your studio (from 14 December 2011 until 14 March 2011) and we enjoyed it very much. All we wanted was warmth, sea level, a clean studio and a working bathroom. That´s what you promissed and kept. The change of towels and bedding twice a week was great and the chambermaids were freindly and helpful.
Let´s talk ybout our landlord now: Alomst invisible, but always there when you needed him. Even as a helper in time of need. Someone stole the purse of my companion in Puerto de la Cruz. It´s been the first (and certainly last) time I didn´t have change with me. We went to the police. They were very polite, but at the same time very indifferent. I wanted to sell my golden armlets to them, but they refused becuase I didn´t have my passport with me.
What to do? The woman at the reception desk found out our landlord phone number and called him. Lucky us, he was in Puerto de la Cruz as well, so he could pick us up. He invited us over to his house to have a cup of coffee and to calm down. He gave us 20 € and took us to the bus station, so we could finally go back home. Thanks to our landlord, our small world was fixed again.

In Buenavista del Norte we have been to a beautiful restaurant by the sea with excellent cuisine.

Such a great location of the apartment and excellent directions. Friendly welcome with good advices for our stay. A calm place and little tourism compared to Las Americas.
Beautiful view on Teide and sensational sea view during breakfast.A absolute highlight: Watching sunrise on Teide. You better take 2 days time for this.
We also have been hiking a lot. Great hiking areas close-by: Rico, El Rio - amazing!
It is also recommendable to go around the island by car (about 3 hours journey time) and have a coffee or ice cream every now and then...The accommodation was beautiful and met my expectations

I was positively surprised and will sure come back. Neat facility and well organized.
There was only one problem with the changing of the towels, but that was probably due to the Spanish holidays. Everything else is beautiful and we felt well-cared for. All I can do is recommend this facility.The accommodation was beautiful and met my expectations

The lobby provides secured MLAN, the studios and apartment have unsecured WLAN, both for free. The TVs have the known German satelite channels.
Avoid Goldcar as local rental car company. When handing over the car we had to wait 3 hours in an endless queue. Only 2 Goldcar employees were responsible for about 100 people waiting, way too less. The same happened to us earlier this year in Majorca.
