Property description
The holiday flat at Playa San Marcos is located about 50 m above the sea and has a palm tree terrace with a view to the southwest over the harbour and the bay of San Marcos (walking distance 200 m).
San Marcos is located on the sunny northwest coast of Tenerife. With its fine, dark sand, Playa San Marcos beach is a favourite bathing spot for all ages. The beach is particularly suitable for children as it is sheltered. Sun loungers and parasols can be hired on the beach, a lifeguard is present. There is a promenade with cafés, restaurants, bars and a pharmacy along the beach and the fishing harbour.
The holiday home is also an ideal starting point for activities of all kinds (golf, fishing, mountain biking, climbing, para-gliding, etc.) and hikes into the neighbouring Teno Mountains or the volcanic landscape "Cañadas" around the 3,718 m high Teide.
Playa San Marcos beach is an 8-minute walk away, and the Loro Park in Puerto de la Cruz is 25 minutes away. Supermarkets and boutiques are available in Icod de los Vinos (2 km away).
Equipment
The holiday flat has a living room with an open kitchen, dining area with a table and 3 armchairs, a queen-size sofa bed (for 3rd person), SAT-TV and home cinema TV, radio as well as a panoramic window with view of the coast.
Kitchenette with washing machine, oven, microwave, hob with 1 electric and 3 gas hobs, fridge with extra freezer compartment, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, crockery and kitchen utensils.
Bedroom with double bed and view of the terrace and coast.
Bathroom with separate shower area, glass vanity, window with view to Teide and climbing rocks.
The natural stone palm tree terrace (approx. 20 m²) has a fantastic view of the Teide, the coast and the bay. There is a hammock, seating area with a parasol and a BBQ grill.
The location is wonderfully quiet, but not suitable for people with walking problems due to the stairs.

Even though it's 200 steps to the water, you can't get much closer to the cliff and the terrace overlooking the sea is simply beautiful.
Facilities good, we were helped promptly with any questions. The price-performance ratio is definitely right.
