Property description
This typical Canarian finca house was completely renovated in 2012 and is located in the beautiful area of Icod de los Vinos above the beach Playa San Marcos and with view of the Teide and the sea. The house is situated on a 2.000m² banana plantation with endemic vegetation about 150 metres above sea level and is perfect for everyone who wants to spend relaxing holidays far away from mass tourism. It is also a good starting point for trips and hiking tours.
The municipal Icod de los Vinos on Tenerife’s north side is a popular holiday destination for hikers, golfers (the next golf course is in Buenavista, about 10 km) and other active holidaymakers.
Good, signposted hiking trails are nearby. Icod de los Vinos is known for its historic city with the typical old houses and the “Parque del Drago” with the 1000-year-old dragon tree.
The region is shaped by its growing of fruits, especially bananas, the blossoming gardens, small Canarian villages, secluded coastal regions and small beautiful beaches.
Equipment
This detached holiday cottage was completely renovated and equipped with modern and high-quality furniture. The cottage is surrounded by a spacious terrace and the banana plantation. Wherever you look, you will either see the ocean, the Teide or a green environment.
The house is fully equipped with everything you need in your holidays: small open kitchen with coffee machine, microwave, stove, fridge, toaster, crockery, etc. Satellite TV, washing machine and Wi-Fi internet are available as well.
There are 2 bedrooms, one of them with double bed and access to the terrace and the other one with two single beds. Furthermore, a living room, bathroom with shower and a small kitchen. The terrace with ocean view is equipped with outdoor furniture and 2 sun loungers.

The accommodation is located in a quiet surrounding and the rooms are in a good norm. All in all everything was fine. The landlady was friendly and cooperative. We liked most, that the housing area was more outside of the village, so you can watch the sky full of stars before you go to bed.
The island is perfect for hiking and cycling, if you are not afraid of grades.

Nice lessors, well equipped, especially the bedroom. Nice location with a sea and Teide view. Only a few minutes walking to the ocean.
Hint for a good restaurant:
- "La Ardeola" in Garachico
- "Tito's Bodeguita" in Puerto de la Cruz.The accommodation was beautiful and met my expectations
