tenerife San Juan de Rambla

San Juan de la Rambla is a small fishing village on the north coast of Tenerife, on a black lava coast. There is also a bathing beach called “Piscina Municipal”. The view of the north coast, to Puerto de la Cruz, is amazing. In the village there are a church, nice houses with typical wooden balconies and several residential buildings of the 17th and 19th century. The beach Playa del Socorro, with its black sand and pebbles, is just a few kilometres away from the village, and it’s a perfect place for sunbathing.

San Juan de la Rambla is a city in the north-west of the Canary Island Tenerife and has 5081 inhabitants (status of 2005). San Juan de la Rambla is connected with Santa Cruz de Tenerife by the motorway TF-5. San Juan de la Rambla is located south-western of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and north of Arona and the airport Reine Sofia. The neighbouring communities are Los Realejos in the east, La Orotava in the south and La Guancha in the west.
