The south coast of Tenerife is one of the most popular holiday destinations of the Island, as well as Porís de Abona. Here still live many locals and long-term holiday makers, but the town is also perfect for those who want to spend short-term holidays here.’ The described apartment for 4 people + baby is near the beach and has view of the picturesque bay of Porís de Abona and the romantic lighthouse. Both beaches are natural. Directly at the beach there is a café called Café al Mar (about 5 minutes on foot) where you can also enjoy wine and tapas.
Porís de Abona is not only interesting for those who like tranquility, but also who like activity holidays. For example for those who like to go climbing. The most beautiful climbing walls of the island are above Porís de Abona, in Arico and in El Río.
The famouse surf and kite beach in El Médano is only about 15 minutes away by car (motorway). Las Américas, Los Cristianos and Santa Cruz is about 30 minutes away.
Within about 10 minutes you can reach the mountains with their pine woods. The unique laurel wood behind the university city of La Laguna (world cultural heritage) is also an unforgettable experience. Those who like to go for a walk or do small hikes, can do it right there.
